Landata Technologies, Inc. has developed an electronic recording system for title companies, lenders and attorneys to submit scanned images to the county clerk for recording rather than traditional paper copies. The entire process occurs electronically using our system.

Visit our Visual Presentation of our eRecording System to see how the erecording system works.

The eRecording Process:

  1. Attorneys, title companies and lenders submit their land documents for official recording at their convenience – 24/7.
  2. Simply key in the GF number, identify the document type, scan the document and submit package.
  3. The electronic image is then transferred to the participating county clerk where it will be reviewed. This
  4. Electronic document images are examined by the county recording office.
  5. Once accepted, they are electronically stamped with county specific recording information and immediately returned in minutes.
  6. Fees for the Clerk’s office are directly drafted from your account - no check writing is required.

The original documents never leave the possession of the submitter during the electronic recording process. Electronically recorded documents are available to the public on the respective county clerk's web site which is maintained by Landata Technologies.
